WHY AVIDNESS

A mindset broad enough to grow with us.

AVIDNESS describes a disposition rather than an industry. The products may serve different people and solve different problems. The common thread is the desire to understand what could work better, improve it, build something useful when needed, and enable others to move forward.

CURRENT & EMERGING AREAS

HOW WE THINK

Advancement does not always mean invention.

Sometimes advancement is a major new capability. Sometimes it is improving a frustrating process, reducing variation, removing unnecessary steps, automating repetitive work, making information easier to use, or changing direction when evidence shows a better path.

The goal is not technology for technology's sake. The goal is meaningful improvement for the person doing the work, the person being served, the organization, or the community. Define the problem, understand the process, improve it, and measure whether the result is actually better.
